XXL SHEDS® intelligent use of materials in our designs focus on what is the most suitable and efficient material that is fit for purpose in the structure.

Our XXL SHEDS® structures meet all certification standards, they are ‘fit for purpose’ and they are far more cost-effective than a traditional single material approach to designs and construction.

The secret starts with XXL SHEDS® design process. A XXL SHEDS® design begins with our Design Function Audit  – a comprehensive examination of the building’s purpose, the features of the property, the physical movements that will occur on site and any aesthetic requirements.

Then our Structural Engineers take the fully specified building and apply value engineering  principles to create a structural design that will be strong, secure, efficient and achieve certification.

Hamish Webb

Managing Director

As a founding member and director of Auvena Pty Ltd in 2013, Hamish has taken up a more hands on management role in 2015 to assist the company as it continues its expansion launching its XXL SHEDS® brand.

An experienced director Hamish has 20+ successful years in the building and civil construction industries in both contracting and manufacturing businesses, including public and private companies where he has been responsible for many successes. Some accomplishments include national and international company expansions, new product development including design awards and successful market creation strategies for new products.

The management skills and industry experience Hamish brings to the Auvena group are invaluable, ensuring the ongoing growth and success of the group.

Hamish is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

Ron Webb

Director

As a founding member and director of Auvena Pty Ltd in 2013, Ron has lead the company from its humble beginnings to a rapidly growing business and the launching of its XXL SHEDS® brand.

An experienced director Ron has 40+ successful years in the building construction industry in both contracting and manufacturing, including managing large building products manufacturing companies. Ron’s industry experience is invaluable and allows the business to be both innovative and highly efficient in its designs and engineering. Ron has a flair for new product development including a history of winning design marks and awards.

Ron is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD)

Steven Shu

Senior Engineer

Steven Shu is a welcome addition to the XXL SHEDS® team. Steven is a highly qualified engineer with a Bachelors degree in Civil engineering and a Masters degree in Structural engineering, Australia MIEAust, CPeng, RPEQ and NER. Steven has worked for a number of well known companies such as Robert Bird Group and Bluescope Steel.

Both Steven and XXL SHEDS® will combine to create a formidable partnership as the company continues to grow further strengthening its mantra which is “value by design”.

Steve Liddy

Sales

Steve Liddy has joined the team at XXL SHEDS®.  Steve has been involved in the shed industry for  past 20 years and held positions ranging from sales, to sales management through to general manager of one the biggest privately owned garage companies in Australia.

Steve brings with him a raft of experience and knowledge in the design and sales arena which will add to the depth and success of the company.

Sharon Knight-Herde

Administration

Sharon Knight-Herde has more than 25 years experience in Administration and has a broad skill set and a vast practical knowledge base, acquired in a range of roles within varying sized companies in differing industries. 

Sharon is a welcome addition to the team at XXL SHEDS® as she brings a high level of professionalism to the business, a real focus to customer service and dedication to her role.
