Working with a local builder, XXL SHEDS were able to meet the requirements of the Queensland education department in designing and suppling hot dip galvanised structure that meet the specification requirements and the budget.
This project showcased XXL SHEDS design flexibility by supplying a fully hot rolled fabricated steel solution that had to overcome some design obstacles such as loose sand soil and proximity to ocean. This was overcome with a clever footing design, hot dip galvanising the structural steel and using ‘Ultra’ cold form products from Bluescope providing extra corrosion resistance.
With more XXL SHEDS Covered Open Learning Areas (C.O.L.A.) buildings approved and in demand throughout Australia, XXL SHEDS is obviously meeting the education department brief in the most effective and efficient manner.
