Building Details:
A gable roof cover with 36m clear span x 37m long with and 7.35m eave height. Design includes a single side wall skirt to house schools signage and concealing a clever flying storm water system. Also incorporates an architectural fixed Louvre at one end to assist shading the courts.
Working with XXL Constructions, the principle builder for this project XXL SHEDS® assisted by designing a sports court roof cover for Yeronga State School in Brisbane. The Queensland Education department and the School were extremely happy with the design put forward by XXL SHEDS® also with the attention to detail, prompt service and high quality product being a real feature of XXL SHEDS® capabilities. This XXL SHEDS® design features its patented SMRT® Hybrid portal frame technology which helps make the building more affordable without compromising engineering requirements, colorbond finish and big open span providing a great area for the students to play sport or for assemblies on wet days. Combined with some some constructions techniques and design ed by XXL Constructions the project is a huge success.
